The book is included with the purchase of the puppy to help the owner answer all their questions in regard to their new Cairn Terrier puppy. I also consult it myself for answers to questions. This book is fantastic, I held off on buying the first book that popped up on a Cairn search because the review mentioned how impersonal it was once they actually read it. I'm very glad I decided to get this book instead. Not only does it include what to generally expect when buying a puppy and raising a dog, the author also supplies his own personal insights into what to expect when buying this particular breed. He follows the life of your new Cairn from puppyhood to seniorhood. This book is fantastic and it's something to keep as a reference throughout the life of your new friend.
